Scar Project Idea

The last picture on the bottom is the one I've decided to stick with. The text I plan on writing by hand onto the developed picture is part of the lyrics to a song by Fleet Foxes called "Someone You'd Admire," and it goes as follows: "I walk with others in me yearning to get out, claw at my skin, and gnash their teeth and shout. One of them wants only to be someone you'd admire. One would as soon just throw you on the fire. After all is said, and after all is done, God only knows which of them I'll become."

I decided to go with a style along the lines of Duane Michals, with the handwriting and addressing the complexities of the self; identity, image, fears, truths, etc.

-- just to clarify, I edited out my tragus piercing in my mirrored self on my chosen image.. I'll leave any further explanation up for interpretation!
